After two games on the road, Berean Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Sale Creek Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Berean Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Sale Creek likes a good challenge.
Berean Academy stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 55-22 win over Dalton Academy. Given Berean Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 222nd in Tennessee, while Dalton Academy is ranked 571st in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Austen Harvey, who scored 19 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Barret Hasley, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Sale Creek got the win against Lookout Valley on Friday by a conclusive 54-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sale Creek.
Berean Academy pushed their record up to 16-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sale Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.
Berean Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Sale Creek in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, winning 54-41. Will Berean Academy repeat their success, or does Sale Creek have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
