The East Helena Vigilantes can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Sidney by a score of 29-20. The win was just what East Helena needed coming off of a 31-6 loss in their prior game.
East Helena was led to victory by Deondray Ellis and Greg Knight. Ellis picked up 65 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Knight rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Knight's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
East Helena's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Sidney, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9.
East Helena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sidney is also done with their season.
