The North Hills Christian Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Grace Academy Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
On Thursday, North Hills Christian made easy work of Greater Vision Academy and carried off a 16-6 win. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.
Dusty Morgan made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Colton Krieg was a standout: he scored two runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Gracin Craig was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
North Hills Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Tuesday. Grace Academy blew past Ambassador Christian School 11-2. The win was nothing new for Grace Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.
Aiden Morris looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Joshua Ellis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Mcnamara, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Grace Academy's record is now 4-2. As for North Hills Christian, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. North Hills Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Grace Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
