Palmerton has gone a perfect 5-0 against Pleasant Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Palmerton will welcome Pleasant Valley at 4:00 p.m. Pleasant Valley took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Palmerton, who comes in off a win.
Palmerton proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Northern Lehigh, sneaking past 10-8.
HAILEY BARRY was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero). She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, TESSA SANDER was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was GRACE SCHNEIDER, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.
Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Pocono Mountain East on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Bears couldn't push the score so high this time.
Kailyn Getz spent all 8.2 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits and racked up 13 Ks. Those 13 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Pleasant Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allison Borger, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Borger's first of the season.
Palmerton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pleasant Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Palmerton took their win against Pleasant Valley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-3. Does Palmerton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pleasant Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
