San Pedro has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Narbonne Gauchos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. San Pedro will be strutting in after a win while Narbonne will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, San Pedro strolled past Banning with points to spare, taking the game 73-54. Given San Pedro's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 381st, while Banning is ranked 1093rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Narbonne pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 65-55 to Carson. Narbonne's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it three in a row.
San Pedro's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. As for Narbonne, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
San Pedro couldn't quite finish off Narbonne in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 and fell 61-59. Can San Pedro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
