The Charlotte Lab School Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Queen's Grant 81-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Charlotte Lab School has scored all season.
Leading Queen's Grant to victory were Garrett Morgan and Christian Shamberger. Morgan scored 21 points along with seven steals and six assists, while Shamberger dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Morgan's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kenston Richardson, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Charlotte Lab School's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Queen's Grant, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Charlotte Lab School will head out on the road to face off against Jackson Day at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Queen's Grant will be home for the holidays to greet Grace Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
