Midland came into Saturday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rebels have posted since February 29, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Kole Dupuis, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Humble, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Midland's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Episcopal of Acadiana, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
