Paul Zolkos, Scituate's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Monday. Zolkos was dialed in as he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Blackstone Valley Prep back in May of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Zolkos has become a key player for Scituate: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-6 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Zolkos and Scituate will head out to face off against Narragansett at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are at an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long.
