Hallandale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Monarch Knights. One positive for the Chargers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Hallandale's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Monarch, the win snapped their losing streak at 14 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-6 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hallandale will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coconut Creek at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Hallandale has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Monarch, they will head out on the road to square off against Deerfield Beach on Thursday.
