Adding to the longest winning streak in 3A/2A Conference 1 this week, Franklin beat East Henderson 42-7. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Panthers.
Tuscola led the league in scoring this week by notching 49 points on West Henderson.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, North Henderson's Trevor Craft and Corey Foster have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Craft has thrown for 918 yards this season, while Foster has 54 catches for 1,074 yards. Anthony Benjamin from Brevard leads the league in rushing with 560 yards.
One of 3A/2A Conference 1's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when the Knights and the Blue Devils face off next week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Smoky Mountain takes on Pisgah. As it stands, the Mustangs are in fourth, while the Bears are in third.
The league will see a high scoring game when Brevard and North Henderson face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Jason Lippard's team comes in having scored 223 this season, while J.D Dinwiddie's team has scored 192. The Blue Devils scored 28 points last week as they lost to Smoky Mountain.
