Temple Christian (Fort Worth, Texas) received a huge boost from its defense against A Plus Academy (Dallas, Texas), as the unit scored 12 in defeating A Plus Academy (Dallas, Texas), 47-0.
After taking the lead on a defensive touchdown in the first quarter, the Eagles led 27-0 at the half.
Temple Christian grew its lead to 47 points entering the fourth quarter. TC scored three times in the third, including once on a
Connor Moore touchdown pass to
Chase Starling.
Moore stood out for the Fort Worth school in the win. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Eagles came away with a 40-0 victory.
In a non-conference game next week A Plus Academy (0-1) takes on Gainesville State, and Temple Christian (1-0) will go up against Legacy Christian Academy also in a non-conference game.
