After a string of three wins, the Woodlawn Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 63-43 walloping at the hands of Towson. Woodlawn has not had much luck with Towson recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the loss, Woodlawn still got an impressive performance from Jordan Harding, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The match was Harding's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Malayah Reynolds was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Woodlawn now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Towson, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
Woodlawn will take on Lansdowne at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lansdowne is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Towson, they will head out on the road to face off against Owings Mills on Monday. Owings Mills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 264th, while Towson is ranked 88th).
