Jackson had won two straight home games and Alece Evanto did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Polar Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Green Bulldogs for which the team can thank Evanto, who had 30 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season.

While Jackson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-22.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jackson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maren Evanto, who had 11 digs. Jillian Dolan was another key player, getting 11 assists and three digs.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Green, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-3.

Jackson has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Nordonia on the 13th. As for Green, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Dalton on the 13th.
