The LaMoille Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 42-29 to Henry-Senachwine. LaMoille lost against Henry-Senachwine in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 66-36 score last time.
Despite the defeat, LaMoille had strong showings from Brayden Klein, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals, and Connor Deering, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals. Klein scored a full 37.9% of LaMoille's points, the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
LaMoille's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Henry-Senachwine, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LaMoille will take on Hinckley-Big Rock at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Henry-Senachwine, they will head out on the road to face off against Roanoke-Benson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
