Midd-West lost to Mifflinburg back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Mustangs never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The game was the first time the Mustangs have beaten the Wildcats on their field since May 9, 2022.

The win snapped Midd-West's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Mifflinburg, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Midd-West will square off against Lewisburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs are facing the Green Dragons at the right time seeing as the Green Dragons are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Mifflinburg, they have already played their next match, a 19-5 victory against Loyalsock Township on the 11th.
