Volleyball Recap: Legacy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Legacy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Rancho, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Legacy blew past Rancho 3-0 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Longhorns, who have now won three games in a row.

Legacy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-22, 25-23.

Logan Hanshew paced Legacy's offense, picking up eight kills. Hanshew got some help from Isaiah Moore and his 14 assists. Isaac Schultz and Peter Brozda kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Legacy pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Rancho, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legacy will head out to square off against Amplus Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Legacy is facing Amplus Academy at the right time seeing as Amplus Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Rancho, they will head out on the road to take on Bishop Gorman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Rancho's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
