Mark Morris put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Columbia River Rapids  a   7-0 shutout. Give the Monarchs' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.
 Makenzie Henthorn was a  major factor no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Paisley Fraidenburg was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  triple. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season. Another player making a difference was  Megan Fugleberg, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Mark Morris  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in nine consecutive  matches.
Mark Morris' victory was  their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Columbia River, they moved to 5-4 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
