Perhaps the best among them was Carter Smith, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The game was Smith's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Alex Polenik, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Penns Manor's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Homer-Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
Penns Manor will be home for the holidays to greet Williamsburg at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Williamsburg presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Penns Manor in Pennsylvania (Williamsburg is ranked 166th, while Penns Manor is ranked 459th). As for Homer-Center, they will head out on the road to face off against River Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully River Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
