The Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds will challenge the Central Bucks East Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Holy Ghost Prep's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Dock Mennonite. Considering the Firebirds have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Matt Riendeau made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Holy Ghost Prep got a massive performance out of Eddie Rosado, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits Rosado has posted since back in March. Colin Davis was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Holy Ghost Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Central Bucks East, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over Central Bucks South on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Brody Wojnicki looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Central Bucks East: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 6-10 otherwise.
At the plate, Chase Fulford was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Central Bucks East is undefeated when Fulford posts three or more RBI, but 5-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Cruz, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Holy Ghost Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Central Bucks East, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.
