The Reed-Custer Comets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell 52-41 to Lisle. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Reed-Custer of the 46-32 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Despite the loss, Reed-Custer still got an impressive performance from Kaylee Tribble, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Mya Beard was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Reed-Custer has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season. As for Lisle, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-10.
Reed-Custer will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. As for Lisle, they will head out on the road to square off against the Blue Devils at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
