The Kickapoo Panthers won the last time they faced the De Soto Pirates, and things went their way on Friday too. Kickapoo was the clear victor by a 51-25 margin over De Soto. Given Kickapoo's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while De Soto is ranked 211th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kickapoo has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 3-1 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for De Soto, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kickapoo will square off against Brookwood at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Brookwood is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for De Soto, they will head out on the road to face off against Blair-Taylor at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
