The Hamilton Aggies stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They really took it to Brilliant for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-28 win at home. The win was familiar territory for Hamilton who now have eight in a row.
It was another big night for Aubrey Sorrells, who scored 20 points along with five assists and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emily Jones, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Hamilton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Brilliant, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hackleburg at 12:00 p.m. on January 28th. Hackleburg is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Brilliant, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lamar County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
