After flying high against the Maud Cardinals last Friday, the Harts Bluff Bulldogs came back down to earth. Harts Bluff fell 43-35 to Bowie on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Harts Bluff of the 48-46 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture on January 5th.
Harts Bluff's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexa Arzate, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Clay, who scored ten points.
Harts Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Bowie, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harts Bluff will take on Detroit at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowie, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Clarksville at 6:00 p.m. Clarksville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
