The biggest upset of the week belonged to Zephyrhills, who took down 273rd ranked Zephyrhills, 21-7. John Forgione threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns and ran for nine yards in the win.
Pasco extended the longest winning streak in 5A District 6 this week by beating Hudson, 63-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Pirates.
David Emmanuel was the most productive running back in the league this week. In six carries, he ran for 130 yards as Pasco topped the Bulldogs. James McClinton also contributed to the rushing game with 80 yards on the ground.
Carter was the best wideout in the league this week as the Sharks defeated Zephyrhills. Carter tallied three receptions for 115 yards. Keshaun Dampier helped Anclote's passing attack out by catching three balls for 109 yards.
Fivay's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tyler Degen has thrown for 937 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Andrew Meyer has 19 catches for 468 yards. Davion Sutton leads the league in rushing with 927 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Pasco takes on second place Fivay. Tom Mchugh's team bested the Cobras last week, while Fivay topped Gulf.
The Falcons' Sutton needs only 73 yards against the Pirates next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
There should be lots of points scored when Fivay and Pasco face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Chris Taylor's team comes in having scored 192 this season, while the Pirates have scored 296. The Falcons scored 42 points last week as they bested the Buccaneers.
Anclote moved up to 322 from 384 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Matt Wicks' team climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Reginald Roberts' team 21-7.
