The Cape Coral Seahawks typically have all the answers at home, but on Tuesday the Estero Wildcats proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Seahawks and snuck past 66-64. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Estero's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drew Arrington, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Brady Knutson was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
The win got Estero back to even at 11-11. As for Cape Coral, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-7.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Ida Baker the next time they take the court. Estero will head out to face Ida Baker at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Cape Coral will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
