Loving made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 14,025 from 14,100. The advance stemmed from a 35-6 victory over the Falcons last week.
Dexter led 2A District 4 in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on New Mexico Military Institute.
The Colts' Blade Allen and Kilian Cahill have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Allen has thrown for 287 yards this season, while Cahill, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 10 catches for 183 yards. Dylan Frank from Eunice leads the league in rushing with 545 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Demons take on Loving. Dexter is currently in first, while Doug Santo's team is in third.
There should be lots of points scored when New Mexico Military Institute and the Cardinals face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Randy Montoya's team comes in having scored 112 this season, while Eunice has scored 206. The Colts scored 12 points last week as they lost to Frank Sandoval's team.
