It's playoff time, and Decatur had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Athens Golden Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The Red Raiders not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 22nd (when they won 3-0).

Caroline Coulter paced Decatur's offense, picking up 19 kills. Coulter got some help from Sarah Roberts and her 16 assists. Harper Douglas and Emma-Glenn Roby kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 18-22. As for Athens, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-20.

Decatur has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Hartselle on the 15th. Athens does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
