The South Granville Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Carrboro with a sharp 96-71 victory. South Granville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.
Brendan Chamberlain continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Oliver Roberts, who scored 19 points.
South Granville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Carrboro, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
South Granville will head out on the road to challenge Louisburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Louisburg is on a five-game streak of home wins, South Granville a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Carrboro will take on Granville Central at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
