Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waldron). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 59-24 stomp they got against the Will Carleton Academy Cougars. The victory was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Waldron's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Will Carleton Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waldron will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Adams-Jerome at 6:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
