Oakland (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) extended its winning streak to six games with a 38-21 victory over
Brentwood (Tenn.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Rhett Stacey to
Emmanuel Smith in the first quarter, the Patriots were up 21-7 at the half.
Oakland expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. OHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
Darryle Hood, Jr touchdown run.
The defeat comes as a step back for Brentwood, who notched a 33-3 victory over Dickson County in its previous outing. The loss snapped Brentwood's two-game winning streak.
