Softball Recap: Hazen Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glen Rose, Hazen was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Barton Bears as Hazen made off with a 22-12 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Hornets needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Hazen's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Barton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Hazen and Barton will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time Hazen sees the field they'll take on Des Arc at 4:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Barton, their break will end when they face England at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st.
