The Brenham Cubs will head out on the road to face off against the Magnolia West Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Brenham's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. Their rough 8-1 loss to Lake Creek might stick with them for a while. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Brenham was already down 4-0.
Meanwhile, Magnolia West didn't have quite enough to beat College Station on Tuesday and fell 2-1.
