If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for West Side. On Friday they take on Malad at 7:00 PM. West Side are coming into the matchup hot, having won five in a row.
West Side put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past Aberdeen 42-0.
Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for Malad as they fell 38-40 to Soda Springs. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Malad.
West Side's win lifted them to 5-0 while Malad's loss dropped them down to 1-4. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
