The Southeast Golden Buffalo won the last time they faced the West Pioneers, and things went their way on Friday too. Southeast took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 63-17 win over West. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-12.
Ma'khiyah Jones was on fire: she dropped a double-double on 25 points and 15 rebounds. The match was her third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Alana Webb, who scored 18 points along with 3 steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Southeast and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for West, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Southeast will head out on the road to face off against Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West, they will be playing at home against Bishop Carroll at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
