Brody Vaughn turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three hits surrendered on Tuesday. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February.

Vaughn's strong effort led Iola over Somerville and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
