Wiley wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lawton Hosey, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. THOMPSON was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February.
St. John Paul II's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Florida State University High School, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
