The Morgan Park Academy Warriors can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They blew past Universal, posting a 71-23 victory at home. Morgan Park Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Morgan Park Academy found their leader in underclassman Tiara Williams, who scored 40 points along with six assists and five rebounds. That makes it 21 consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Morgan Park Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alana Haaruun, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Morgan Park Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. As for Universal, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Morgan Park Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on North Shore Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on February 8th. North Shore Country Day is coming into the contest with six straight losses on the road, meaning Morgan Park Academy will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Universal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
