In what's become a running theme this season, the Reedley Pirates gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They never let Sierra Pacific onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. Give Reedley's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.
They hit Sierra Pacific with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Abel Padilla (2),
Esteban Baca,
Alessandro Lopez, and
Eduardo Vasquez.
Reedley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4-3 record this season. As for Sierra Pacific, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14-4 record this season.
Reedley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sierra Pacific also has no future games currently scheduled.
