Idalou barely beat Muleshoe the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Idalou was the clear victor by a 10-1 margin over Muleshoe on Friday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Idalou is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Muleshoe and nudges their season record down to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. As for Muleshoe, they will venture away from home to challenge Friona at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
