The Marlington Dukes's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Canfield Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on December 19th.
On Saturday, Marlington took a serious blow against Boardman, falling 54-22. While losing is never fun, Marlington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while Boardman is ranked 66th).
Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for Canfield in a 51-34 victory over Salem on Saturday.
Marlington now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Canfield, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Marlington came up short against Canfield in their previous meeting back in February, falling 41-32. Can Marlington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
