On Friday, the Buffalo Bison faced the Lander Valley Tigers in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Buffalo took down Lander Valley 60-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Buffalo also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2022.
Buffalo found their leader in underclassman Karly Davis, who scored 22 points. The matchup was Davis' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tess Rule, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Buffalo's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lander Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Buffalo will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Lyman on January 6th. Lyman will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Lander Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Worland on January 6th.
