Sunny Hills had a senior duo take command as Mikeal Khan threw for 200 yards and three TDs and Kruz Sandle picked up 143 receiving yards and one score. With that strong performance, Sandle is now averaging an impressive 100.8 receiving yards per game.
Meanwhile, Beckman's offense rose to the challenge against an Indians defense that boasted an average of only 13 points allowed on Friday. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 34-14 margin over Fullerton. Considering the Patriots have won three contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Sunny Hills better keep an eye on Noah Nam. He was instrumental in Beckman's win, throwing for 200 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 43 yards.
Beckman was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 261 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards in five consecutive matchups.
Beckman's defense made their presence known, laying out Sergio Andrade three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Enzo Giuliano, Dylan Garrow, and Roy Chaya, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Sunny Hills' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Beckman, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Sunny Hills has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 159.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Beckman struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 182 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
