Make it five blowout wins for the Pittsfield Generals this season. They really took it to East Longmeadow for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-34 victory on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-13.
Pittsfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Stetz, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Dezerea Powell was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Pittsfield and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for East Longmeadow, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pittsfield will take on Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Longmeadow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chicopee Comp at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
