The West Point Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Shadow Ridge Stallions at 7:00 p.m. West Point has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19.
On Friday, West Point was beaten by the Champions 81-19. While losing is never fun, West Point can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Champions are ranked 32nd).
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-21, which was the final score in Shadow Ridge's tilt against the Monsoon on Thursday. Shadow Ridge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-9.
West Point dropped their record down to 3-18 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Shadow Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.
West Point took a serious blow against the Stallions in their previous matchup on Tuesday, falling 43-14. Can West Point avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
