It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Charlotte can now relate to. They fell just short of the North Fort Myers Red Knights by a score of 7-6 on Wednesday. The Fightin' Tarpons' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Dylan Klossner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Frank Planer was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Charlotte's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for North Fort Myers, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

While Charlotte had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
