The Pine Hill Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Chesterton Academy Saints at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Pine Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
Last Friday, Pine Hill strolled past Alamo Navajo with points to spare, taking the game 42-27. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pine Hill.
Pine Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nevaeh Natan out in front who scored 13 points along with 8 steals and 5 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Natan has scored at least 25% of Pine Hill's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Virances Martinez, who scored 11 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Chesterton Academy was beaten by Corona/Vaughn 61-20 on Thursday. Chesterton Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Their wins bumped Pine Hill to 2-2 and Alamo Navajo to 2-3.
