The St. Martinville Tigers are on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Comeaux Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully St. Martinville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday.
Last Saturday, St. Martinville came up short against Southern Lab and fell 53-43.
Despite the defeat, St. Martinville got a solid performance out of Raytyrion Narcisse, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylon Jones, who scored 7 points.
Meanwhile, Comeaux also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Acadiana by a score of 43-36.
St. Martinville's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Comeaux, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Things could have been worse for St. Martinville, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 71-57 loss to Comeaux in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can St. Martinville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
