Deerfield-Windsor is 8-2 against Westfield School since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Deerfield-Windsor will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Deerfield-Windsor is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Pinewood Christian 21-3. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Knights' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Patriots are ranked 219th).
Deerfield-Windsor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gabe Daniel, who picked up 123 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Sceals, who threw for 211 yards and two TDs.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Deerfield-Windsor proved: they limited Pinewood Christian to a paltry 2.4 yards per carry. While two picked up at least six total tackles, Luke Ivey stood above the rest. He picked up two sacks and made six total tackles. Deerfield-Windsor's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.3.

Deerfield-Windsor's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Ivey with two. He has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last three times he's played.
Westfield School not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 15th (when they won 44-0). They took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-6 victory over Tiftarea Academy.
Westfield School's win came from a few key players Deerfield-Windsor will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Stone St. Clair, who picked up 112 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 30 yards and one touchdown. What's more, he posted two receiving touchdowns, the most he's had since back in August. Win Hoots was in the mix too, providing Westfield School with two TDs.
Deerfield-Windsor's record is now 11-0. As for Westfield School, their record now sits at 8-3.
Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Sceals and Brock Johnson. Sceals just won't slow down this season and has thrown 33 touchdowns (and and only 3 pick) while averaging 242.6 passing yards per game. Johnson has been a dominant force too and has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 162.2 passing yards per game.
