They walked away with a 65-52 victory over Rittman. Given Norwayne's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Indians are ranked 594th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Norwayne's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Connor Preattle, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Hess, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
