River Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Halle Snyder, who scored eight points along with 17 rebounds. Lexie Hecker was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Clear Fork's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for River Valley, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Clear Fork will square off against West Holmes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Ohio (West Holmes is ranked 152nd, while Clear Fork is ranked 148th). As for River Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Delaware Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Delaware Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 635th, while River Valley is ranked 284th).
